ISMUN, an exhilarating journey, much like a roller coaster ride, where every committee session is a thrilling loop, every negotiation a hairpin turn, and every crisis an unexpected plot twist, leaving you breathless with excitement and fervour. One moment you’re passionately defending your country’s stance, and the next, you’re laughing at an unexpected satire from a fellow delegate. At the core of this exuberant frenzy – is a steadfast promise to be resilient, humble and pragmatic. A promise, to participate in ISMUN wholeheartedly, and face every challenge with a headstrong, practical mindset. A promise to Ignite, Illuminate and Innovate.
ISMUN is a forge where delegates of all stripes are honed and sharpened, a place where determination is crafted into diplomatic prowess. Long meetings fuelled by caffeine and camaraderie, intense lobbying that tests your negotiation skills, and brainstorming sessions that often end in outbursts of laughter embody the essence of this wonderful experience. It’s not just about the resolutions you draft; it’s about the precious moments you share. At ISMUN, every serious discussion has its counterpart in an equal amount of fun.
Behind the scenes of ISMUN, the work is as challenging as it is entertaining. Imagine trying to thread a needle in the middle of a whirlwind—that’s what organizing ISMUN feels like, and that is exactly how well the OC balances the chaos and the creativity. The dedication, ingenuity and finesse that goes into making this event a success is nothing short of spectacular. From late-night designing sessions, last-minute technical fixes, hours of documentation and making reels, to an endless logistic workload, our team pours their heart and soul into creating an experience that is as polished as it is thrilling.

Opening Ceremony: The first day began with the opening ceremony. As enjoyable as it was informative, the ceremony was graced by the presence of the honourable chief guest, Mrs. Sara Sharma, IPS, who shared thoughtful insights on various matters, from protection of the environment to drugs.
Guest Lecture: After a mesmerising dance performance and the introduction of the committees, the delegates left for their respective committee rooms to attend a guest lecture by our respected guest speakers, a session which proved to be the perfect precursor to the upcoming deliberations.
Committee Session: Following the commencement of the formal session, excitement and voices started to rise as the delegates put forth their conflicting views, leading to fiery debates and heated discussions.
As the day came to an end, the delegates left feeling more exhilarated than before, looking forward eagerly to the second day of the event.

International Singhania Model United Nations (ISMUN) is an offline MUN simulation conducted by Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School, Thane. It has served as a unique platform for honing one’s skills in debate, diplomacy and leadership since 2015, with ISMUN 2K24 being the 9th edition of the school’s most prestigious event.
ISMUN 2K24 is being held from 22nd August 2024 - 24th August 2024 in the campus of Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School. The location can be found here.
ISMUN 2K24 has 8 power-packed committees, including 2 Indian committees alongside 6 UN committees. Refer to the committee section of the website for further details!
There are 2 dress codes. Delegates are to wear Formals on Day 1 (August 22) and Day 3 (August 24)
Delegates are to wear Traditional Indian Wear for Day 2 (August 23)
The UNA-USA MUN rules are being followed at ISMUN, with a slightly modified version of it used for the Indian committees to suit certain special aspects of those committees.

Entry fees at ISMUN 2K24 will be ₹2800 for in-house students and ₹3000 for external delegates. For external delegates – once you receive an email confirming your delegation at ISMUN 2K24, you may proceed with the payment of fees via bank transfer, details of which will be provided to you in a separate email (you can make such bank transfers from any UPI banking app as well). In-house students may use the school portal.
Due to the short duration between the time of payments and the main days of the event, we will not be providing refunds in case of cancellation of attendance post-payment.
